[glow=red,2,300]The Rules[/glow]
I know the rules are boring and nobody likes to read the rules, but you MUST read the rules before you can begin your adventurous journey in Broken Fantasies. So without further ado, here they are.
[glow=red,2,300]
General Role-play Rules[/glow]
1. Canon information is enforced, which is why we encourage all our members to have seen the TV show and or read fan-fictions about the show. Scripts will be on hand if you need to brush up.
2. DO NOT GOD MODE! What does this mean? It actually means quite a few things!
-Do not attempt to control another character besides your own, for starters. You can only control your character and you must ask permission before dictating any action for another character. You can not harm, cast a spell on, kill, or do any action to another character without their consent. If you want to punch someone, feel free to throw the punch, but there is no guarantee that you will actually hit them. If you want to kiss someone, go ahead and lean in for the kiss, but again, no guarantee where the kiss will land. This also means that your character is not perfect - not in looks, actions, speech, and knowledge - nada. Create a character with depth, including weaknesses and faults. It makes for much better role-play!
3. You may only have ONE character! (Unless otherwise approved via an administrator. See the FAQ for more information). You may, however, have one NPC, though it is discouraged in most cases. This NPC must be registered and approved. You can learn more in the FAQ section.
4. Do not make out of character (OOC) posts or use smiles in RP areas!
5. The following types of posts are frowned upon and will generally be locked and sent to the rubbish bin:
Character Sheets posted anywhere other than the Character Sheet Forum Posts requesting friends/enemies Posts entitled 'Bored' or something similar
The best way to get involved, is to GET INVOLVED! Join an active, open thread and start posting!
6. This type of role play is called "free form," meaning there are no set battle rules and all posts shall be formatted in the third person, as though you are writing a story about someone.
7. You cannot be in more than 4 active threads at a time. This only applies to role-play areas. General Chats do not count towards active threads - so you may be in as many OOC areas as you like as well as four additional, non-role-play threads.
** How do I know if a thread is active?
..* It will NOT be locked
..* It will be in the "Role Play"
8. Relationships and interaction with Canon Characters is monitored closely.*unless you are a canon character.* you may not create a character related to or having a personal close relationship with any canon characters. However, casual, inconsequential, impersonal, but in character conversation/interaction/behavior with canon characters is permissible. If you wish to have a relationship with a cannon Character your storyline needs to first be approved by a staff member.
9. This site is rated M as in Mature…this means………
Topics such as sex, drugs, abuse, rape, harsh language and many other mature topics may be used. If you are under the age of 13 you may NOT join this forum. If your post has mature topics in it, please put the rating of the post in the thread title. If you feel like your thread is not of a harsh rating, and then it intensity’s modify the topic. If underage people still insist on reading it then it’s on them.
